Marc, I just received the package containing the TV6 kit.

I just want to congratulate you not only regarding the clever design, but the superb workmanship and attention to detail that has gone into the kit.

Thanks very much for taking the care.

Got the kit ok a little while back. NICE FINISH !!! Very impressed with the quality of your kit, how do you get the time to get this all organised? The instructions are good and easy to follow. Well illustrated.

Hi Mark,

I finally got a bit of time to have a fiddle with the CNC gear.

A few comments:

  • Beautifully packaged – carton arrived completely intact with almost zero handling wear ;-)
  • Parts are excellently packaged and individually wrapped in wax paper – nice!
  • Excellent finish on the parts
  • Very nice job on the cables and connectors
  • I think the plastic covers are way cool – very professional looking
  • I haven’t looked at the controllers just yet but I’m sure they will also be excellent ;-))

The Syil X3 CNC milling machine has a factory oversight in that the gas spring counterbalance has only. 200mm of stroke, limiting the Z Height movement to a maximum of 200mm.

       X4 - Dangerous Wiring...BEWARE

Be aware that the wiring on the new X4 machines may be dangerous.

I would recommend you forget the Syil system- reading this forum is just a long list of failed boards, poor connections etc. Even though they make a reasonable effort to replace the parts, what you are going to get is more of the same. Look for a proven domestic supplier with good sevice and quality control, even if its a bit more pricey.
